"Well, let's go get a haircut," my son, Ade, said yesterday afternoon.
In fact, Ade had been asking me to take him for a haircut for quite some time, but I hadn't been able to manage it due to my busy schedule.

The barbershop is located about 50 meters from our house, so we walked there. Ade has had his hair cut here several times; he insists on this particular spot because they have race car-themed chairs for children.

Since he’s already familiar with the barber, he immediately asked for the specific hairstyle he wanted. He chose it himself by looking at a poster on the wall that displayed various boys' hairstyles—he asked for a "lightning bolt" design on the left side of his head.

About a year ago, he absolutely refused to get a haircut because he couldn't find a place with a race car chair. Previously, he had been willing to get haircuts because his old barbershop had a car-shaped seat, but after that place closed down, he wouldn't go anywhere else—especially since no other barbershops had chairs like that.

Fortunately, there’s now a barbershop near our home that has a race car chair, which makes Ade always excited to get a haircut. In fact, he now keeps pestering me to take him for a trim, even though his hair isn't even that long yet!

Seeing how enthusiastic Ade was about getting a haircut, I decided to capture the moment by recording the process. Yesterday was my first time trying this particular video-shooting technique; I was inspired by a tutorial I watched on Instagram.

Would you believe that this video is actually the result of combining just two separate clips?

What do you think of the result?
