I understand with this being the #steemsilvergold group, there might not be much interest in numismatics but sometimes these two passions collide so I thought I would share one of my prized pieces in my collection. It was early in the start of my collecting (entering into year 5 now) where I became drawn to Canadian 1 cent coins. I can't remember exactly how it started, just that it was fueled by a gift from @phelimint. During a trip to Ottawa to visit the RCM, he picked up a Lighthouse 1 Cent Coin Album with slots for all the dates from 1858-2012 and most of the variations. The day I got this I was hooked and was on a mission to complete this set.

Queen Victoria 1858 - 1901 Large Cent

King Edward VII 1902-1910 & King George V 1911 - 1920 Large Cent

King George V 1920 - 1936 & King George VI 1937 - 1952 Small Cent

Queen Elizabeth II 1953 - 2012 Small Cent

Apologies for some of the picture quality, need to work on that!
There are some really decent condition coins in the collection, I must admit I'm pretty happy with it. Every now and then when I'm out at a LCS or Coin Show I'll search for coins to upgrade or fill the few empty holes. It's been a great collecting project over the years and its something I will have to enjoy for years to come.
Are there any other decimal collectors on here!? Is there a set/series you are collecting that you are really proud of?
