Picking yourself up can only happen when you are down. No one standing will need to pick themselves up.
My opinion:
I think we should have a career, thought in schools and seminar that helps teach real life lessons of how we can pick ourselves up when we fall.
Enough of always preaching "secrets to success", there is more to life than throwing that bait around.
Whenever a man needs to pick himself up, he must have fallen really bad and left with no desire to get back up in a hurry.
A fall can be demoralizing and frustrating and it can really leave you alone and sad.
When you fall, you fall hard like a pack of cards.
Do not be ashamed that you fell and never write yourself off.
Everyone falls and that includes your idol who appears to you as a miracle. No success is without it's fails.
Success is not defined based on never falling, but how you were able to pick yourself up and keep the fire burning even right in the eyes of the storm.
There is an art that needs to be mastered by all and that is, finding your feet everytime you get slid off your balance.
Make it a point of duty to return to the point of your fall and try starting all over again.
Your return will surprise even your biggest fear which will have no option than to bow.
