I have been asked by many of my students if I ever thought that I shouldn't write a certain work, or not take on a particular acting role, etc. I have always answered the same way. You have to know you, accept you for who you are, and make your art.
You are the dreamer and the dream. Your art must happen. It doesn't matter what your art is, you must make your art happen.
