Today, I bring you these photos from a quinceañera celebration, including part of the makeup process. Focusing on details has always been something my eyes naturally gravitate toward. These details can range from an aspect of the dress to a characteristic of the person, but my vision has always appreciated the beauty in the small things.
Hoy les traigo estas fotos de 15 años y parte del maquillaje. Buscar detalles siempre ha sido algo en donde mi vista se suele enfocar. Los detalles pueden ser desde un aspecto del vestido como de una característica de la persona, pero digamos que mi vista siempre le ha gustado esa forma de apreciar lo pequeño.
In my daughters, I can see this same fixation, as many of their favorite toys share the common trait of being small. I'm not entirely sure if this is something unique to my daughters or a trait shared by all children, but I tend to think this focus on small things is something we share as a family.
En mis hijas puedo ver esta misma fijación porque muchos de sus juguetes favoritos guardan como rasgo común que son pequeños. No estoy del todo seguro de que sea algo completamente de mis hijas y no algo que todos los niños tienen, pero me inclino a pensar que esta fijación es un rasgo nuestro.
Having this eye for details is both a strength and a weakness. By concentrating on a single aspect, you can sometimes forget the bigger picture or even overlook other elements that might be more striking to someone else's view. This is why I reflect on it and believe the best approach is to remain aware that everything, even the bigger picture, is an important detail.
Tener esta vista de detalles es algo que es tanto bueno como malo porque al centrarte en un solo aspecto puedes olvidar el todo o incluso pasar por alto otros aspectos de lo que lo envuelve, que pueden ser más pesados para la vista de cualquier otro. Así que reflexiono acerca de ello y creo que lo mejor es estar consciente de que todo también es un detalle importante.
