Hello there Hive fam!
I have wanted to make this post for some time but i just kept procrastinating as usual but better late than never right?
Anyway a couple months ago i started to learn Blender down at a studio in my town and i went with the typical Donut tutorial as many people starting with Blender decide to. Sadly i only get 2-3 hours per week to work on it but hopefully i can get my own computer sometime soon to work with Blender at home also!
So yeah i thought i would share the rendered results after each stage of the tutorial (i am not fully finished yet but i am getting there!)
At this point when i showed it to people i had to explain to most that it was supposed to be a Donut lol.
Well it looks like a donut here right? Not very "life-like" yet tho.
Here i added a lot of textures and worked with nodes to make it more life-like.
So here is where i am at currently and i gotta say i am very proud of the results! Now i just gotta add liquid in the Coffee Cup and after that i move onto building a small scene with everything standing on a table and also add some walls around it then after i will learn to work with the built-in camera and make a small scene with the camera zooming in and around it all.
So what do you guys think of my progress? :)
If you really want to learn Blender also but feel it'd be too difficult I'd say just go for it because you got nothing to lose by trying not even money since it's free/open-source lol! and personally as someone that procrastinate a lot cuz i feel i am too stupid to try learn something new but still went into it and decided to learn Blender... i actually found it very easy to learn and if you get stuck there's tons and tons of tutorials both written (with pictures) and Youtube videos for every part of Blender.
Anyway after i finish this tutorial series i was thinking of turning the rendered scene into an NFT just for fun and then move onto new projects in Blender to learn other parts of it! ooh and if you wanna do this tutorial on your own just search after "Blender donut tutorial" on Youtube and click on the channel called "Blender Guru" i am doing the 2.8 version but he is now making an updated series for Blender 3.0.
