You are right. Losing confident in a project that is not giving us fast returns is inevitable. But everytime we seem to be in a hurry, we are always on the losing end. And that is rather sad, we should learn to hodl for long term revenues

Why didn't LeoBridge Take off?

A lot happened like you said. There has ethereum faithful followers, Elon's tweets, POB community suddenly thriving, etc.

So unless PoB pulls off some investment, use case and future development in the long run Leo will out do PoB.
