It's been a little while that CUB has taken centre stage of Hive discussions and yes there are still those posting about it but how many of us are still using the service? I am. As I have previously mentioned It's important that if you believe in a project you support it and don't focus too much on price. It can be hard, believe me. I lost $8000 on CUB and I still add more to it today.

Although much of my dwindling cash is sitting in the cake Den getting me a little cake and a little more CUB. It can be hard to retain confidence in a project if you're not seeing quick returns. But we're not here for quick returns as they often mean quick losses. Which is what kind of happened with the stake. Everyone rusher in for the epic ROI and then bailed once they profited.

In order for defi to generate constant income it needs to be used and that is what CUB Finance is working towards. A use case which initially involved a bridge from Ethereum to Binance and a good one.

Why didn't LeoBridge Take off?

Well, quite frankly there are a few reasons and it's not that it didn't "take off" there has been use of the bridge. The issue is the broader market and everything impacting it such as Elons tweets that caused a massive market meltdown and sent the entire crypt market cap plummeting.

There's also Matic's launch which enabled Etherum tokens to be bridged and used. This is the interesting project because it's an in-between. Matic has the potential to do well in this sector but its not there yet. It is a hard block chain to get onto. It is hard to navigate and it is hard to do much on it. It's because it is new.

The other aspect is Ethereum itself, it has a significantly large cult following and many remain hopeful for the changes to take place and fees reduce. Noting the most recent data indicates that Ethereum fees have reduced.

It's important to note that the network also had less traffic as NFTs slowed, people staked Ethereum and alot of wallets held in anticipation of the fork. The fork itself still remains unknown if it will lower fees with many sceptical that it will actually achieve a fee reduction.

Leobridge's full potential won't be realised until people give up on Ethereum which is still up in the air if it will. Many are playing it safe with a "wait and see" approach.

Many have been talking about the price of Leo and I believe some FUD took hold and thats fine for me, means cheap Leo and I've been able to grow my account through blogging and purchasing.

What happened was that PoB started and a number of big players dumped Leo for PoB. A short term indexation causing some price fluctuations between PoB and Leo. PoB seems like a great community also, a second layer blogging token, a growing community and some good returns.

But it doesn't match Leo's DEX and use case at this stage. So unless PoB pulls off some investment, use case and future development in the long run Leo will out do PoB.

PoB isn't the only token Leo is about to out do with Hive going into a dive over the past few months steaming a head to a low of what I anticipate to be 15c.

I don't think Leo will drop this low and will maintain its 25c - 30c price becoming one of the block chains highest valued token. With the price if Hive falling more people will no doubt entre Leo to retain their value.

This is why I'm picking up more Leo now and staking it in the Leo BNB Den as well as turning some into CUB.

Leo has a use case and is generating income through CUBFinance which will ensure a constant revenue stream and financial support for when Hive Dumps.

Furthermore, recent announcements by the leofinance@leofinance team have indicated that CUB staking in the CUB Den will also provide BNB divs paid to stakers. This will provide a further lucrative investment opportunity and away to retain a lot of the wealth that is about to be wiped from Hive in the coming months.

Now don't get me wrong this is all time limited and I believe we have until August. That is a peak month, either Hive will plummet or it will begin to go into an upward trend in August.

So the next few months are a gamble on finances. Wait and see if price moons in August or begin to locate wealth storage. Not an easy decision and it's one that I am not providing financial advice on because I could be totally wrong. One thing I do know is that Hive is dropping and I'm waiting to pick up some big bags of it.

Will you be joining me in buying up liquidity from exchanges in August regardless of the Hive price?
