POP'S KING- Michael Jackson's Moonwalker Smooth Criminal

Seventh single from the 1987 album Bad by the late American artist Michael Jackson. The song contains a fast-paced rhythm intertwined with Jackson's lyrics about a woman named Annie, who has been violently attacked in her apartment by a "stealthy" assailant. The first broadcast on television as a video was in early October, was released as a single on October 21, 1988, and reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.

The initial version of the song was written by Jackson and John Barnes in 1985 and the model recorded in 1986. The original title was Al Capone and later it would be retouched and rewritten as Smooth Criminal.
