Along time ago... in a city far, far away, I used to be heavily involved in the independent film scene. I wrote my first screenplay in High school. I directed my first feature when I was 20.
When I was 16, my father took me to see Macbeth at the Royal Shakespeare Company in London, and I was instantly hooked on the dark tragedy... still trying to figure out why.
My indie film friends and I wrote many adaptions of the play, but we settled on the original verse, and set the scene in a post-apocalyptic Chicago.
For this particular project the plan was to make a trailer for the purposes of raising money to shoot the feature... this is as far as we got.
