I thought playing guitar is easy but no, I still remember when the first time I touched a guitar. My finger is really hurtful, I couldn't last in a minute. What made me trying so hard to play is because I'm too jealous with bunch of friends that can play guitar. The best thing about guitar is when finger pluck with rhythmic chords playing along.
Because I feel the guitar is singing to you, I always wanted to play that style of play but never happen. How on earth should I learn this. I learn it slowly by listening to some folk song such as Jack Johnson, Damien Rice and Ray Lamontagne. Slowly I learn from them by watching how did they pluck and sing the guitar.
I was blown away with their excellency of song arrangement and melody. I cannot believe that there are such things like playing finger plucking guitar while singing could happen. That mellow voice really grabs my attention so far. Since then, I started learning finger pluck and singing. One thing that I like about finger plucking is that you can't make your own sound and may write some songs too.
Yes, I did try to write some of my own songs too. I'd love all of you steemians listening to my own music too. This song that I'd love to share is about a girl that I like and I dedicate this to her. It's hard to believe that I manage to write a song. LOL!
So this is it, a song entitled 'I Think I Like You' which been recorded 4 years ago and uploaded it on Soundcloud
