Whether I am on my way to record in the forest, or even playing next to the camp fire, there is always a deer coming to say hi.
Today, I was minding my own business, when my friends visited me again, this time a group of 3, younglings.
They're at the edge of my land, but I want to take advantage of the pile of wood to maybe get closer, and get a nice clear shot.
I sneak on them, lucky for me I am wearing my camouflage jacket and a green pant, boots, I can move swiftly without alerting them. I don't mind them being scared of me, they should be, it's hunting season and I can already hear some gunshots coming from the south.
It's hunting season, let's hope I am not interfering with a local "battue", I can hear a group of dogs barking from the direction of the gunshots, I am still far from the deer, let's get even closer.
Now, I know that my friends 
They still don't seem to be too bothered by me, I can now hear shots coming from both directions, I wonder if they know what's going on.
I still decide to get closer, deer undisturbed by gunshot and man running toward them.
Ok...I lost them. Where are they?
Got them!
I don't know why, maybe because of the gunshots, I feel unnerved, and start shouting at them: "Hey!!!"
I know they are quite young, so there is absolutely no risk for them to be hunted by the locals, they don't even seem to be bothered by the surrounding sound.
They must have thought "What's wrong with this human?" 😊
I love the unique connection we us, humans have with deer, and eagles. They are both very spiritual animals, they're coming with messages, and if you are ready to listen, you might get something out of it.
Ever since we moved to country side, life slowed down a little bit, and learnt how to listen, pay attention to the signs around me, and letting them approach me too.
I don't know if I talked about it already and I apologize if I do, the other day I was crossing a forest, driving slowly, and a buzzard took off on the side of the road, softly landed on my windscreen, took another jump in the air and landed on a branch above me. It felt completely surreal, and I wish I could have filmed it!
Someone might think that it's just a coincidence, an event with no specific ramifications, that it happened by accident, like everything in the universe, since the big bang.
Or, it could also means that everything around us is connected, and what we don't full understand how energies, people, beings, interact with each others?
I leave you with a sentence from Richard Feynman ,my favourite physicist/bongo player: "What I cannot create, I do not understand".
