The more I learn about steemit, certainly seems like long drawn out heart felt stories or blogs are pretty much a waste of time until I get my followers are up to several hundred. Some of the posts Ive seen people make with tons of followers are so simple, and make tons of money. I love to write, and its easy to throw "pen to paper", but why "waste" my material on a couple cents, when in a couple months, it could be worth exponentially more? Am I wrong about this? I'm open to suggestions from those that know more than the minnow here. Danka.
