How do you think the world will be different in thirty years?##
My answer:
Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, and Today is a gift, that's why its called present.
What will the state of humanity be in thirty years? Man has always wondered what the future holds because tomorrow remains shrouded in mystery, but if there is one thing constant in life it is change, and humans in particular are changing the earth in many ways unimaginable.
There's actually a lot to be excited about ...Though we might not be able to predict the future, we can at least speculate based on the global trends transforming today's world, and which I believe would largely shape the world thirty years from now.
When I look back to my life in the village many years ago, there were no cell phones or personal computers or the many electronic gadgets around today, yet today, I am surrounded by cell phones and computers and so much technology that makes me swoon. Indeed, the world has evolved into a monstrous technological beast.
Thirty Years from now, technological advancements will boom. Most things will be based on electronics and computers for sure. Technologies of today will develop more technologies for the future.
Thirty Years from now, life will be quite fast-paced with the internet reaching every corner of the world.
For transcations, electronic money will be the way to go, Banks and Fiat would have become obsolete.
Thirty Years from now, I see a future of great advancements and innovations in medical science and technology which will produce vaccines and cures for many diseases. Cancer and other equally lethal diseases would have vaccines developed for their prevention and cure. Artificial and lab-grown organs will bring the much needed solution for transplant patients, who won't have to wait for another person to die before getting a life-sustaining organ. This no doubt would extend the average human lifespan by many more years.
Thirty Years from now, electric cars will be the in-thing, with cars having self-driving features topping the list. These would be wonderful for two reasons; with electric cars, new sources of energy will emerge besides natural gas and driverless cars will be safer because human error can be eliminated, leading to a reduction in car accidents.
Thirty Years from now, we should be able to rely almost exclusively on renewable, clean energy. Harnessing clean and renewable energy from Solar Power, Wind Power, HydroPower, and also animal and plant wastes. These renewable energies have the ability to overhaul my country's almost moribund power infrastructure.
Thirty Years from now, we will experience the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and I think it would be to our advantage generally as far as there isn't a "Terminator" scenario...lol. But the downside is that lots of people will be out of employment by then.
Thirty Years from now, Space travel will become a common mode of transportation, yes, with people starting to live in outer space and Elon Musk of Space-X, building colonies on Mars because he wants to die there.....Good luck to him!
The future scares me too when I think of the negative impacts of these giant strides in technological innovations. Stuffs like social isolation, excessive dependency, health concerns, Job replacement, exposure of our young to explicit materials etc.... It also fills me with the most dread what it could become in the hands of the criminally minded, "Are you thinking along with me?, The huge revolution in world destruction weapons like nuclear weapons and atomic bombs, can also lead to a total extinction of the human existence.
