I've not been here for long and I actually don't know so much about crypto, but with my little time here, I can say that I very well know that it has changed the way a lot of us see money. You know, I remember years back when it seemed to be but a noise and a lot of people weren't even paying attention to it. Only to find out now that it has now become a huge part of the financial world.
So, talking about the next 5 to 10 years. One thing is sure. Crypto will still be here; it will have gained more ground. A lot of businesses will start accepting it as a form of payment. Tech is obviously gaining ground and doing much more; the same will happen with crypto too. It will become easier to use, and making transactions will be safer and simpler.
People wouldn't have to worry about sending money across countries; crypto would have made that very easy, with nothing about bank delays, huge bank charges, or all of that. And to add to that, in the next 5 to 10 years, the governments of most countries would have understood crypto better and seen every reason to start making use of it, except that there might be certain rules surrounding it.
Also, in the next few years I feel crypto wouldn't just be something a lot of people are buying to keep waiting for it to rise as most people are doing today. It would have become a normal payment method. Not as if it will replace our currency or traditional methods of payment, nah, but both will coexist.
And even though I've seen some say the future of crypto is uncertain. I understand their point of view, and I don't disagree with it. One thing I know though is that crypto isn't going anywhere soon. But then, I believe the next 5 to 10 years can either tell us if it is now certain or uncertain.
