It has the ability of preventing the spread and activities of HIV in the human body. People with high risk of getting infected with the virus are advised to undergo PrEP and people who feel they have been recently exposed to the virus but should be done within 72 hours. The medicine associated with PrEP is called TRUVADA which should be taken once everyday by HIV NEGATIVE persons.
