There's a power struggle coming.
Brought by decentralization.
Megacorps are becoming much more powerful.
Now they have the power of currency.
How do we maneuver around this clash of titans?
I'm not sure, try not getting stepped on by the giants.
There's going to be quite a bit of flailing going on around here.
The banks are in trouble, therefore, everyone is in trouble.
This isn't some grand master plan this is:
The Network Effect of Greed
The world is a gigantic clusterfuck that no one is in control of. There is no grand conspiracy required. We don't have to wonder why it seems like the establishment is full of heartless blood-sucking reptiles. We should know why.
Our dog-eat-dog world has cultivated a reward system that favors the ones who thirst for the most power.
We gave power addicts the levers to all the power,
and then we wonder what when wrong? No.
Short-term gains have been prioritized over long term ones.
Everyone's looking to make that quick buck. This is especially true in the crypto space. No one is asking how they can make open-source shared-economy products for this space. Most "dapp" creators seem to be using the same antiquated legacy systems of control.
Just a matter of time.
It really is.
Leaders need to rise up.
Examples need to be set.
We just aren't there yet.
The current power structure is being shattered slowly.
As soon as I saw Libra this was obvious to me. What an obvious sign that times are on the verge of rapid change. Try not to wipe out on this next tidal wave. Who knows how big it will be?
I think central banks might not exist in ten years.
Imagine how much shit would have to go down for that to become reality. I'm honestly having trouble imagining it, so the real number is more like 20 or 30 years.
If central banks don't exist, where did all the money go?
Ah that's a great question, Timmy!
Everyone with fiat was left holding a worthless bag.
That's no fair!
No, no Timmy it's not.
And so one last round of suckers will be fleeced for their crypto in exchange for green toilet paper.
Back to corporations
Yeah, in any case, think about it. If anyone can create a currency, what's the point of the government? Of course there are many points, but they are all irrelevant. As corporations wield more and more power governments and central banks will become that much more outdated and useless.
From there, of course we have to hope that the actual decentralized movement makes progress at the roots, replacing rather than just slightly altering the legacy system.
The network effect of greed can no longer scale.
It is top-heavy and about to implode.
The network of Trust is the future.
Fat chance...
One can hope.
