You continue to refuse to look at the numbers and recognize that these expenditures are drops in the bucket and arguably have little to no affect on the overall spot price. It's all very much a "let's throw the baby out with the bathwater" scenario. That bathwater is very dirty we should get rid of it.
You've also given me no examples of another network that's doing a better job of this... because there are none. These issues are universal and the potential solutions are way more complex than just expecting a wave of a magic wand to fix everything. In fact I'd say your proposed solutions are essentially paradoxes: The problem needs to be solved by putting someone in charge, but putting someone in charge is the problem. These are not reasonable expectations and you seem to refuse to acknowledge this basic fact of decentralization.
But yeah I get it if you don't want to participate because you see red flags.
