Tyler The Creator, eccentric rapper coming out from Ladera Heights, California, conducts a sweet acoustic set on the Tiny Desk Series. The first song they perform is called Boredom, from his newest album Flower Boy. Talking about time passing by, and finding time to do something, whenever you are feeling bored, its a fun track. Tyler adds light soft synths and light percussion, while he is accompanied by two lovely backup singers, a stand up bass, a pianist, and a drummer, making this performance a contemporary classic! I am familiar with Tyler's sound since his old collaborations with Frank Ocean, some of which are my favorites out of his old albums. Listening to his new music now, shows me his originality and good ear for Jazz chords and Rnb style songs. Also i must say the lighting for this show was Dope. So props to the vision, despite going through the heat, literally.
I hope you enjoy this performance as much as i did.
As always, keep on creating
