NO MORE BACKWARDNESS 1
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Matthew 28:5-6
Beloved, if death could not hold Jesus back from resurrecting, nothing can successfully hold you back in life. The power of resurrection is still at work today and is available for you now. “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection…” Philippians 3:10.
Backwardness means: much action and activity but no motion or promotion; knowing what to do, and where to go, but never getting there; physical existence and advancement in age with no destiny advancement in life.
Note the following:

  1. Jesus was representing you when He died, and when He resurrected. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4).
  2. The believer has been raised by the resurrection of Christ. “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6). Nothing can hold you back because you are in Christ Jesus.
  3. Every seed you sow to God will return to you in multiplied harvest. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” (John 12:24). God sowed Jesus as a seed, and He is reaping sons until today. Whenever you sow to God, you are a candidate for unstoppable multiplied harvest.
  4. The enemy might fight your destiny, but he is not permitted to end your story. “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19.
Beloved, backwardness, stagnation and failure were destroyed by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Nothing could stop Him from resurrecting, therefore nothing can stop you from rising to your place of enthronement. “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” (Isaiah 60:1).
