“STAND KEEP STANDING …DON’T FALL”
EPHESIANS 6:10-14
INTRODUCTION:
This study is a call to steadfastness, a challenge to the believer to remain alert and resolute against the subtleties of the devil. Often, believers are miserably floored by the tempter’s wiles because the believer is neither sensitive nor guarded against the antics of Satan. The scripture demand that we stand: 1 Corinthians 16:13, Galatians 5:1, Philippians 1:27 — and keep standing in the Lord (on the side of the Lord) winning in every temptation and enjoying victory.
Beloved, be sensitive to the following. Don’t be overtaken unawares:
- Each day comes with its sufficient evils. (Matthew 6:34, 1 Peter 5:8, Job 1:7). Be wise, stand strong on daily basis.
- If you allow the devil to defeat you in that temptation, he would have stolen, killed or destroyed you in one way or another. John10:10, Ephesians 4:27,2 Timothy 2:26.
- The devil is defeated, so stand against him. 1 John 3:8, Hebrews 2:14, Luke 10:18-19, 1 Peter 5:9, James 4:7.
