A young boy was playing and running through the house as fast as his little legs could carry him. As he was trying to maneuver his way around a corner he slipped, fell, and broke an expensive vase belonging to his mother. His mom seeing this with rage Pointed at a chair, with her raised voice and said, “Sit down!”
“I won’t!” he said defiantly.
The mom took him by the shoulder with anger to that very chair she pointed at, forcing him to sit down. As she was about to caution the young man, he said boldly, “I may be sitting on the outside, but I’m still standing on the inside!”

So many of us that calls ourselves Christians are just like that young man in it come to obeying God. With hardened heart and a defiant attitude we stand before God every blessed day as hypocrite. Let’s not forget, God do not search the physical appearance but the heart.
Often when things do not go our way or the way we wanted them to, we seem to turn to rebelling and say stuff like, “If You won’t give me what I want, I will go get it on my own. I don’t need you I can do this all alone”
When we refuse opening the door of our heart to Him but choose to go our own way, He will not stop use because he is a God that wants us to willing follow Him and not forcefully.
Psalm 95:6-11 today, if only you would hear his voice, “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,
