A customer stood for hours watching a young boy help his father move boxes of goods from one location to another. The boy’s father would place boxes of goods in his arms and then he would move them to another location. Every time the boy goes back to his father, he increases the pile of boxes and place them on the boy’s arms for him to carry and on seeing the pile of boxes growing higher and higher in the boy’s arms, the customer watching politely asked, “Son, are you not tired of carrying those boxes. Isn’t that too much for you?”

The boy cheerfully looked up at the customer and said, “Sir, my father knows how much I can carry.” He is the man placing the boxes in my arms.

Paul in his letter of encouragement to the Corinthian said “God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it.” Which means God know how much you can carry.
Temptations, tribulations, hard times, tough times etc are all part of life even if sometimes it seems life is bullying us or we are being singled out by God for special examination, we should know others have gone through this road before and they succeeded in resisting the temptations
The issue is not about being able to face and flee temptation; the issue is whether or not we want to.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
