Let me begin to make the spiritual concepts more concrete. This is important because, as we all know, the two are intertwined. It is really important to realize that our spiritual beliefs should and do have real world consequences. The things we are talking about, like the coming of the kingdom of heaven, will ultimately happen in the real world here. We need to start bringing our beliefs back to reality. We need to really apply our beliefs to our lives in the real world. For this episode, let me talk about the Devil and Evil.

Scripture says that the devil is the ruler of this world. This isn’t unclear at all. If this is true then we should be able to look around the world and find evidence of its truth. So let’s ask the question, Realistically, who rules the world? The devil is the spiritual entity who rules the world, but is it possible that there are actually people who serve the Devil ruling the world? Can we identify one or more entities or groups of people who serve the forces of Evil in the world? Does this belief hold up? Are there possibly world leaders who don’t hesitate to commit all kinds of evils against mankind? Are there world leaders who wage wars in the name of money and power? Who are they? Maybe we can’t find number one, but it’s pretty clear who the key players are.
We need to realize that there are truly evil people in the world. These people are servants of the evil one. These people consider themselves Gods, and their only goal is to dominate everyone else. We need to recognized that as God's people we need to be standing up for what is right. We don't do violence, no, but we speak the truth. We condemn evil actions. We must not support the evil actions of others in the world lest we become lukewarm.
This is my call to you. Wake up and realize that the Devil is in your world, he is ruling it. Recognize the evil he is doing, waging war all over the nations and enslaving the masses. Recognize that he is powerful. He owns all the major media corporations in the world. He surrounds you with propaganda and messaging trying to turn you away from God. He wants you to be selfish. He wants you to be materialistic. He wants you to be subservient to him. He wants you to be a helpless slave in his army of brain-dead self-serving zombies. He wants you to forget your humanity. My call is for you to Wake UP! Wake up to the reality and start acting.
As a soldier of God it is your duty to fight evil. How can you fight evil? By protesting. By getting together. By organizing a movement. By speaking truth. By helping wherever help is needed. It is time for all of God's people in the world to come together. It's time to start acting like true believers in the message of Peace. We need to make peace. We need to stand up for those who are being killed. We need to stand up for the children who can't speak for themselves. This is what it means to labor for God: That we spread the true gospel of peace, the gospel of world peace, and help the widows and orphans.
