A finales del año pasado me puse la meta de comprar un carro para este 2022. Claro, eso fue cuando el Hive tenía un precio mucho más alto y pensé que sería algo más sencillo y rápido de lograr. Mi meta era sacar ya sea un carro de agencia o uno seminuevo que estuviera en muy buenas condiciones y que fuera tal vez del año 2018 o algo similar. Es un Chevy Pop 2004 al que decidimos llamar Sullivan Pop, porque es azul. Debo de confesar que nunca aprendí a manejar bien. Sé lo básico, pero me hace falta mucha práctica. Nunca me llamó la atención manejar y cuando quise aprender. No tuve los mejores maestros, fueron muy impacientes conmigo y lo dejé. Ahora sé que es una necesidad y me arrepiento un poco por no haber aprendido antes, pero nunca es tarde para empezar. El otro día salimos a dar una vuelta y todo bien, antier quise sacarlo de reversa y no pude, me desesperé y me di por vencido, fue todo un drama. Tanto fue el drama que ya me quería echar para atrás con el trato de comprarlo, pero después de platicarlo con mis papás cambié de opinión y decidí conservarlo e intentar de nuevo.
Mi meta realmente era comprar un carro para mis padres, pero ese sí tendría que ser un carro mejor y mucho más caro, que tuviera todo lo necesario para salir a carretera y que sea un coche más seguro que el que tienen actualmente. Lo que me llevo de esta experiencia es que de una u otra forma, si trabajamos duro, las metas se cumplen. Les envío muchos saludos y espero que tengan un excelente domingo. It is a 2004 Chevy Pop that we decided to call Sullivan Pop because it is blue. I must confess that I never learned to drive well. I know the basics, but I need a lot of practice. I was never interested in driving, and when I wanted to learn. I didn't have the best teachers, they were very impatient with me, and I quit. Now I know it's a necessity, and I regret a little for not having learned sooner, but it's never too late to start. The other day we went out for a ride, and everything was fine. The day before, I wanted to put it in reverse, and I couldn't. I got desperate and gave up. It was a drama. It was such a drama that I wanted to back out of the deal, but after talking it over with my parents, I changed my mind and decided to keep it and try again.
My goal was really to buy a car for my parents, but it would have to be a better and much more expensive car, one that would have everything necessary to go out on the road, and that would be a safer car than the one they currently have.
