The ego - we are convinced we are it, we get reactive for anything that is said to us that "hurts" us.
The ego- will do everything to convince us we need him, to hold on, and destroy our life.
The ego- a destruction machine that has long lost any purpose, and does not know even why it is there to destroy the organism in which we allow it to reside.
The ego- will sabotage any relationship, effort to succeed, to be truly happy and content, will always look for something wrong, someone to blame, something not right.
The ego- is the real disease, no other real disease exists outside of a dis-eased mind.
The ego- so convincing that we will go to war with each other, bash, hurt, dishonor, disrespect, be selfish and inconsiderate of the other persons life, space, time, just so we can feed it.
The ego- it's alive inside of us, and is like a parasite, eating it's host inch by inch for the sake of being right that someone, something outside of us is wrong, that we are not good enough, not licked enough, don't deserve enough, and all because someone else is responsible for our utter misery.
The ego- observe it long enough to realize the illusion that it is real.
The ego- what silence arises without it.
"IF you try to kill him to save them, they will kill you to save him"- the story of humanity, trying to protect their identity by all means, holding onto false sense of self to dear life, killing each other to protect him, to protect the dis-ease and keep it alive, thriving and eating it's way into their bones, tissues, organs, blood, annihilating its host. And we kill for that.
