Hi, ebotaylor is my name.Heard about steemit from @oppongk, I find it very interesting ptalfrom to share the massage of Jesus Christ .
Jesus great love for his disciples is clearly revealed by the association with them at the "upper room "the night before the crucifixion. It was that day he Instituted the memorial of his death, asking the disciples to do eat the bread and drink the cup containing which he said, represent his broken body and she'd blood. Matthew 26 reads
and he began to wash the disciples’ feet. Jesus made their feet dry with the thick cloth that was round him.it was also in the upper room that Jesus revealed to the disciples that Judas would betray him. John 13:21-30
Very sincerely, Peter avowed his willingness to lay down his life for Jesus ,and Jesus foretold that Peter would deny him. John 13:36-38.
One of the things Jesus said that was remarkable is that the disciples would be able to do the very miracle he did even greater works than these shall they do,John 14:12
The disciples were given the power to perform miracles, but the larger fulfillment of this prophecy will be during the followers with the Christ and other in the faith
Jesus made many wonderful promises to his disciples while with them. One of them Was "whatsoever you ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son.if you ask anything in my name, I will do it. The implications is that those who make request in Jesus's name would be in full harmony with Him and with the will of God the Father.

But this would be a wonderful assurance for Jesus to give to those who were soon to go out into the world as his ambassadors and so Jesus said, 'if you love me keep my commandments. "John 14:15,26
This is another reassuring promise ,but the again with a condition attached to it "if you love me, keep my commandments "we cannot doubt that many times in later year the disciples rejoiced in the fulfillment of this promise .what a blessing it must have been to them when in prison or otherwise suffering for Jesus 'sake.

The success of the disciples would require that they also love one another, so Jesus said, 'This is my commandment that you love one another,as I have loved you'John 15:12 the masters love for his disciples was so great that he laid down his life for them, and expected them to be willing to lay down their live for one another. The reality of these promises depended upon them. If they believed fully they would have complete rest of mind and heart.indeed,Jesus said "my peace I give unto you :not as the world gives, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
