"Mom I will be back soon" maria said
Maria was a gypsy girl, a free spirit, with a pure heart full of laughter and a soul full of music. She lived with her family in a small house not too far from the village, travelling from place to place maria explored the world sharing her stories, culture and traditions with the world.
One day while performing on the stage of one of the most exotic restaurants in the city, maria eyes met that of a handsome young man named Anthony. Anthony was a non gipsy, a "gadjo "as the gipsies would call it, He was a traveler just like maria but had wondered into the city out of boredom and search of a new adventure, maria was overwhelmed by his kind heart, and even loved his curious nature more.
"Hi there,I saw how you performed you did so well" Anthony complemented her performance .
"Thank you so much" maria replied.
"Am Anthony by the way, i just came for a little vacation in this beautiful city " Anthony said with a overwhelming smile.
"The place is good and am sure you will also like it here" maria replied him.
"Would you take me for a walk around the city, I can't seem to find my way" Anthony said trying to give an excuse to talk to the beautiful girl he has just met
"Ok" maria replied with no hesitation
As the days passed by Maria and Anthony grew closer, sharing each other's adventures and traveling experience beneath the starry sky, Soon they feel in love but their love was forbidden, Maria's Family was the kind of family that believed strongly in religion and culture, and maria was supposed to get married to a person in their city not an outsider, and so her parents did not approve of their relationship.
Her parents tried everything possible to separate both of them but it was to no avail and so maria and Anthony decided to run away. Determined to be together, maria and Anthony devised a plan to run away leaving behind the only life maria has known since her life and so they set off to the unknown their hearts beating as one.
Years went by and maria and Anthony built a life together, a home filled with laughter and joy. They explored the world together, traveling from one place to another sharing their love, music and experiences to as many who wants to listen, and though they were faced with different challenges, their love for each other remained strong a flame that burns bright and true.
Their love for each other became a legend, a story to be told and untold. As the years passed, they traveled to distant places learning different cultures, the way of life of people and maria was happy as she explored the world with Anthony. One day they arrived in a small town in the heart of Dutch city, the villager welcomed them with open arms and maria and Anthony enjoyed their stay in the town. They learned the culture and way of life of the people and was soon swept off in the vibrant local culture.
In that same town it was where they met an old gypsy Woman Rebecca. Maria was Already 7 months pregnant with a baby when they arrived at the town, at the end of the festival season, it was now time for maria to give birth, the villagers called for one of the most elder and senior members of them, Rebecca. Rebecca was a woman of faith, she helped maria deliver a bouncing baby boy and maria and Anthony thanked her very much. Rebecca saw the Iove Maria and Anthony has and saw that their bond was special. She took them under her wings, teaching them the wonders of the gypsy way and the power of true love.
Under the guidance of Rebecca, maria and Anthony formed a family. Their love for each other still grew stronger as the birth of their newborn child was celebrated. They learned the ability to harness their emotions improve on their passion. To share their experiences and journey with the world, maria and Anthony decided to write a book filled with their adventures together, their knowledge and their experiences as gypsy and the birth of their child.
As years turned into decades, and their love remained the same, Maria and Anthony sat down on the hill overlooking at maria home city where they first met, and maria turned to Anthony and said "our love as been the best thing that has happened to me since I left". Anthony smiled, took her hands and held it tightly, kissed it and replied "you have been the best thing that has happened to me too ". And. As the child grew he was told of his parents story and how their love was a legend.
