In Canada and the US, meat prices seem to be a prety interesting measure of the rise and fall of food prices because prices are very correlated to corn prices because of all of the subsidies there are. This was last week's ad from Walmart. What are your meat prices like right now? Prices are rising here and I never think it's a good sign when they stop giving prices for staple items in the weeekly ad, like, for instance, corn. Corn prices are going up, so too does meat. In the ads, they say you can buy corn at "everyday low price"...which isn't a lie. The corn price literally changes on the day and throughout the die, they resticker corn now which shows you inflation is real and here and now too.

Walmart ad 4/28
