EVs are still owned mostly by the higher income brackets. Vehicles aren't like phones that are being given away for free now by TMobile. 20% of EV owners go back to gas or hybrid within 5 years. I bet that number is higher than that.

The expenses are just overwhelmingly high for the product people are purchasing.

My 98 Safari GMC is still running and has 400k miles on it.
