I have been there to take dogs and cats people have dumped literally on my street in a bad part of town to the shelters or county pound. There are many people out there who are truly cruel and don't bother themselves thinking about how traumatizing what they're doing is to the animal(s) they're dumping.

There's so many glaring signs of the dire straits the world is in but too many are turning a blind eye.
