There are needs, and there are wants in the world of Network Marketing. No matter what product or service we may offer, nor how superior our product is, the only prospects that will even take a look at what we have are only those who want what we offer.
There need for our product or service may be so blatantly apparent to us that we may salivate at the "impending " sale. But rest assured, if there is not a want on their end, you have salivated in vain.
This example explains what I'm referring. Sally is a single parent, and she works hard at two jobs. Talking with her, she will tell that work is hard, she is not making enough money, her bills are outrageous and on and on. You realize she has a financial need.
Or take Joe. He states that his daughter needs a couple of thousands of dollars in braces. His son needs more glasses and his wife just got laid off, and Joe says he has not had a raise in 4 years. Here, you realize Joe has a financial need.
So you ask both, "would you like to do something about your situation?" Invariably, the answer will be a resounding "NO" And that scenario will ring true for most people in similar circumstances. There is undoubtedly a psychology working here. Maybe they feel as though their situation will get better--Change does favor the "hopeful" mind or does it.
And most of us have been in a similar state of affairs. And you can remember when you decided to say "Yes" to change your situation. I remember when I did.
Now if both Sally and Joe had stated, Oh yes, what and how can I change my situation. I could tell them of a retirement program (although the company refers to it as a retirement program) I might refrain
