Today started just like every other day, and I wasn't so sure that I'd be going out today, but I've been planning since yesterday that I want to go and have fun, and because my girlfriend is around, she was the one that gave me the little push I needed to go out because I was already saying that maybe we should postpone it tomorrow because procrastination about going out is what I'm very used to. She insisted we should go out today, so we decided to go out without knowing where we were going.
Finding a new location to visit can be challenging when we're not familiar with many places. To avoid going to the same places we've been before, my girlfriend and I decided to explore new options. We stumbled upon a beautiful restaurant on an Instagram page that shares the best locations in town. It caught our attention, and I suggested we should go there and dress up for the occasion.
My younger brother stays in a different apartment in our compound, so he has been disturbing me when are we going out. I've been telling him soon, but today was a perfect opportunity for him to follow me out, so his girlfriend was around, and we decided to go together making four of us. we had to order an Uber because I don't have a car, and he doesn't have a car too. The name of the location is Tulip Hotel and they have a restaurant inside the hotel.
Upon arrival, we noticed a party taking place at the hotel which seemed to have impacted the level of attention we received from the staff. As a result, I was disappointed with the customer service and inclined to give it a poor rating. However, after a two-hour wait for our food, I was starving and becoming increasingly anxious. Eventually, our food arrived and I have to admit, it was worth the wait. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was delicious. The cook did an outstanding job, particularly with the meat. Furthermore, the view from the hotel was stunning and added to the overall experience.
Today's outing was enjoyable overall, but the traffic we encountered on our way back made it quite stressful. I would rate the day a 7/10. As for the restaurant, I would give it a 7/10 due to poor customer service, but the food was good. If it weren't for the event at the hotel, I may have given it a higher score. All in all, it was a smooth day, and we had a lot of fun.
