I still don’t know why some Africans believe that what happens with world powers like the US or Russia does not concern them. If you look at history and how the financial market works when two major countries are at war it mostly affects smaller countries too. Some of these smaller countries even feel it more because of how they depend on world powers to survive and I’ve been advising people against this belief not until I experienced this firsthand recently.

I still remember a few years ago before the attack of Russia in Ukraine, my portfolio was OK but after the attack on Ukraine, my portfolio went down drastically and it not only affected my portfolio in crypto but it also affected the stock market too. I’ve been looking at this pattern. I realize that each time there is a war between two countries, especially too powerful countries. It has a major effect on the market and now I’m feeling the pressure more because I need the money and my portfolio is down so bad.
Nobody likes uncertainty
For every attack, this brings about uncertainty for investors and nobody likes uncertainty. I think that’s one of the major reasons why most investors remove their money from the market when all these wars are going on because they don’t know how everything will play out and even if it me I’m going to do the same. I will want them to finish their war before I put my money back. Now everybody is feeling the pressure because the market is down and this is not only in CRYPTO, it is the financial market generally.
Every move of this world power is affecting everybody that have money in the financial market. Why I tell people that we shouldn’t think that nothing concerns us when it comes to the election of some of this country or their decision because at the end of the day, it affects us indirectly and sometimes it affects the country itself. If the country with which your country trades majorly trade with is in a war with another country it affects your country.
The market always bounces
After Russia attacked Ukraine a few years ago which led to crazy dump the market has recovered since then. The evidence is there that no matter what happened in the market during the war market always recovers. It might take time even months or years, but the market always recover. This should stop you from selling your Investment. Just change your plans and make better decisions for yourself, but one thing is sure is market will recover. It is not going to be easy, we are all feeling the heat, but the market will recover.
