Yesterday, I talked about the importance of having people around us who want the best for us and how these people can help us to make better decisions and get better in our judgment. The last thing we need is a yes man, people who says yes to everything we are doing, whether wrong , and be bad for our growth but some of us are blessed with good friends, people who want the best for us, but we are very stubborn. We only want to do things our way, and no matter what people tell us, We don't normally follow it because of our selfishness and greediness.
I agree that blindly following advice from others can be dangerous, especially when you don't know their true intentions. It's important to take the time to research and think things through before making any decisions. However, seeking the opinions of trusted friends and family can be helpful in making a well-informed decision. When two or three call my attention to what I am doing I mostly check myself and seek advice from different people.
Just because somebody has experience in a certain field, it does not mean they learn anything from that experience, which means experience does not equate to knowledge. We have those who fail time and time again just because they keep repeating the same mistake.
One thing most of us don't know is that we have old fools, and just because somebody has experienced a lot does not mean that they have the knowledge and that is why every decision we want to make must be the one we consider best for us and humanity. we must never be sentimental when making a decision, we must never let our emotions and what we will benefit stop us from making the right decision.
Don't blindly follow advice just because it's popular. It's a common mistake to assume that if multiple people recommend the same thing, it must be correct. However, we live in a society that often promotes illogical beliefs and practices. It's important to seek out what is truly right and follow that path, regardless of popular opinion. For example, the first person to stop the killing of twins didn't follow the misguided beliefs of others but instead recognized the importance of protecting human life. Remember, just because everyone else is doing something doesn't mean it is right.
Another thing people do is that they choose what is best for them alone and not what is best for their family, They are friends and the society that they live in.
Some people know the truth, but because of their selfish nature, they choose to do what is best for them and not what their family and friends benefit from. When this set of people make money they choose to impress themselves alone by buying expensive things and doing everything expensive that is comfortable for their life. They know that when they invest their money, they can actually generate income that we help them during their old age, and their wife and their kids might even see something to live on when they are gone, but they choose not to do that They choose themself above every other thing else and which is why some of these people end up broke.
Sometimes making decisions is not hard but we choose to follow what quenches selfishness and greediness whether it is right or wrong.
Sometimes, identifying wrong decisions is not hard because God gave us the spirit of good and bad, this lets us know when something is wrong, even before there is a law against it but because of our selfishness, and greed we choose what is wrong justifying their wrong actions with term survival, convincing people that they are trying to survive.
Doing the right thing mostly comes down to whether we are contented and this brings about fulfillment.
