I have struggled all my life with how to manage most things I use on my body, things like shampoo, body cream, hair cream, and so on not because of anything but because what seems normal when using all these products is not normal at all. I could use a product that should have lasted for six months in just two months and each time I mention at home I want to get the same product again in a short period my mum becomes upset because of this habit.
But this does not mean I can not manage some other things and as a matter of fact when it comes to managing money and time people always give me credit.
Management skills started from the beginning of what you are trying to manage, let's take alcohol, for instance, the main reason why some become an addict is that they can not manage the intake of what are consuming, they can never seem to have enough and most times is not always because the way it makes them feel but they don't know the normal quantity. The truth is what seems normal to you might be very bad and sometimes the way we do things and see things is not always completely right.
My poor usage of some of these products came to the idea that the more I apply them on my skin the faster I will see the result, which is a lie, I just spend more money over and over again. the same thing goes for alcohol addicts they want to be super high which is why they take large amounts of all these pills apart from the fact that they will spend money all this later affects them one way or the other.
Every mismanagement habit is born out of emotions or desire that is buried deep down somewhere.
When we are doing something bad our gut always tells us but we choose to continue knowing fully well that there might be a consequence. So many people mismanage money not because they want to buy what they want but because of the need to go for what they are born out of desire, feelings, and desperation. People that know how to deal with their emotions very well always manage their money better.
