Hello hivers!
Many of us move through cities full of people, noise and a lot of frenzy. Constant movement that doesn't let us stop, sometimes doesn't even let us think, and sometimes we also need peace.
It is #nature that gives it to us, we look for that magical, serene and inspiring corner, where we can simply be, observe, breathe and let ourselves go. Sometimes we find a piece of nature in the place we least expect...
That happened to me in another city, in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, from which I am sharing some travel posts. Well, I also had in mind to visit a museum, the Gulbenkian museum, but suddenly by surprise I found myself on a wonderful path that took me to a place never thought of.
How had he ended up in a place with a rocky stream and tall reeds? Was it a zen garden? It looked like. Next to the museum or almost surrounding it was this alive environment, a pleasant park, so it was the opportunity to discover it.
The name is: Jardim da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (The Calouste Gulbenkian Fundation Garden)
And I discovered more things, there were ducks! That they walked quietly around, accustomed to all of us, to sit close and take pictures of them, while the water continued to travel the same paths crowded with vegetation that it continued to travel.
Because there was more, I didn't think that this place could be so big, maybe I was lost... was it possible? It didn't matter, it was so relaxing to be there, there was no one, just the ducks, the plants, the leafy trees and that water that calmly ran around that perimeter of strange nature rediscovered.
It is a pleasure to discover places like this, full of life that explodes on both sides of the small stream, of endearing animals that cause us surprise and curiosity, in their environment without feeling or perceiving that other world outside.
And it truly feels like a zen garden where all our senses come to their senses. Where we relax and breathe, where we are inspired and feel alive again, in the middle of nature. Because nature is not far away, even though we are flooded with asphalt, it is also close, because there are places like this, green oases that reconnect us with everything natural and true. A unique, special garden, with an original touch and certainly surprising at the same time as desired.
So I recommend this place, a small natural paradise encapsulated in the middle of the city, a silent green bubble full of clean oxygen and serene waters that recharges us with pure energy. Nature is amazing right?
