Hello photo lovers!

It's summer and everything around us seems alive, colorful and bright. It's hot and we want to be somewhere cool or where we can cool off, so we like to go to the beach. Although the beach is always a beautiful place all year round, but now we enjoy more hours there, because there is more light, and the light changes as we look at the horizon.

As lately I have been publishing travel posts about Portugal, especially about Lisbon, I wanted to end "the series", with an inspiring post that gives it a nice ending. And what better than on a beach near the Portuguese capital, Costa da Caparica beach (praia da Costa da Caparica). On that place, at Costa da Caparica there are many beaches, but one with that same name, a bit further...

It is not far, we just have to cross one of the two big bridges in the city (the 25th of April bridge) and continue a little further. Soon we arrive at a natural space, because it is a quite natural and almost wild beach, which draws your attention above all because of its great width. It's huge.

A lot of sand, far and wide, and a lot of sea, well better, a lot of Atlantic Ocean ahead. And we look everywhere and everything goes out of the camera lens.

Different shades of blue that stand out from the tonality of the blue sky and different areas, some with more people, which we see in perspective from a small dam at the beginning, and beyond, further away we find quieter areas where perhaps there are countless birds who also enjoy summer days.

This is how we spend the day, under the sun, looking at the sea, taking photos, enjoying the waves and feeling all the nature around us. And the hours pass and the place changes...

Again movement, sound and spectacle when we look at another area, the same birds that flew over the sea also contemplate the perfect sunset from the sand. An instant that remains captured, in the camera and in memory.

As if it were a story, the magic begins when the sun says goodbye to us, it will soon set, under the sea... but while it gives us those last moments where it is best. Almost no one is left, but we remain looking at this spectacle that inspires us so much, makes us feel lucky, connects us to everything in silence, and amazes us with its beauty. And we want to capture all that in one photograph or several. The paradise is here.

Then birds have left, everything is over, a moment later everything changes and it may be time to go. So we leave too, we say goodbye to everything, to the beach, to the city of Lisbon and to this series of posts about a small place on the Portuguese Atlantic coast. We are left with memories and photographs, the warmth of the sun on our skin and that peaceful sensation with the flavor of sea salt.
