Istanbul is an ancient city that has been the capital of many empires for centuries. Although there are empires such as the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, and Latin Empire, the last capital of Istanbul was during the Ottoman Empire, and Istanbul is a city that stands in the middle of the world.
When Istanbul is mentioned, magnificent historical monuments such as Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet tell a vivid and bloody history and these historical monuments almost have a soul.
These works seem very original, very realistic to me, because they are not just concrete piles, they are works made with the tremendous effort of thousands of people.
It is an epic city that has witnessed many wars for centuries, surrounded by sadness and sometimes by a climate of peace, hundreds of poems and books have been written on behalf of Istanbul. It cannot be finished by being told and must be lived.
This city, which has hosted thousands of civilizations for centuries and still continues to do so, is a city that many states want to have in terms of its economic and natural beauties and location.
