When I just remember, it's Friday night, the work week is over, I'm sitting at home and thinking about the upcoming weekend.
Apart from promising my sister that I would go with her to a nearby furniture store, I thought I would spend my time in a relaxed atmosphere...
How I screwed up 🤣
I woke up a little early to enjoy my Saturday morning with my first coffee and breakfast.
And that was all the time I had to myself that day.
We went to IKEA so my sister could see the dresser she wanted to buy.
We found it on display in the living room and she loved it.
I thought she was going to have it packed and delivered.
There is a saying in our people: "The wiser gives in, the donkey does not allow" which is not really so commendable because in the end it turns out as the stronger wants, while the wiser retreats...
On that day, I failed to convince my sister that it was smart.
"Well, no, I wanted to take it home right away."
Ugh, I know what that means in IKEA stores.
She needed a "donkey" that day to transport her new furniture to the office.
I found an Info desk with a computer for viewing the products, in the search engine, I took pictures of all the necessary elements and then, with carts, between the shelves in a row, I looked for position by position...
It took us more than half an hour to find all the elements and even more to interpret how many packages we should take.
I used an image with the name and element codes to mark the separate.
We packed all the elements on the cart, and then in the car.
In order for all this to fit in the car, I had to dig up the seat and prepare the car so that everything could fit in it.
In the passage, while we were looking for a chest of drawers, we took the opportunity to look at the furniture we are planning to replace and have a little fun.
We drank coffee and ate a cake in the IKEA restaurant, as well as a few pieces of Hotdogs when we left IKEA.
I drove the purchased to my sister's office and transferred all the elements to the place where they will be mounted (donkey completed the task 🙂).
I didn't offer to install this chest of drawers for her, I made the excuse that I didn't have time...
When we lie, karma is a miracle. It happened that I really had no free time all weekend.
After visiting IKEA all day, we went to the Pizza bar, for our favorite pizza with thick dough.
After dinner, we finished the day hanging out at our house until midnight.
Somewhere along the way I managed to write a post about my dreams 🙂

Sunday morning, we slept a little longer.
While we were drinking our morning coffee, my partner started a story about some furniture we saw yesterday, which we need to change...
Phew, I knew that activity was following me today.
Like yesterday, we spent the day in several furniture stores, with a tape measure, a piece of paper and a pencil that I got yesterday at the IKEA store.
We were looking at some corner sets, a desk, as well as a queen bed for our bedroom.
The prices are high, and the discounts are pouring in from all sides, the fair offers 25%, today only the discount "for beautiful eyes" is another 10%, they will offer everything if you buy during the day.
Will show how the set unfolds, will explain the structure of the mattress and filling, will offer to change the color, dimensions, all with an additional charge 🙂.
I stoically endured the whole day's furniture-viewing activities, and when we came to the end of the day, we agreed that I would choose where to have lunch.
I chose the PUB closest to our apartment, so I first parked the car and went on foot for a well-deserved beer.
With #Beer, cheesy sausages, spicy chicken wings and crispy fries, I enjoyed the time I had left this weekend.
I looked at the application for tracking the number of steps, today I walked less than yesterday, but even fewer steps, since there was movement between the exposed furniture, it counts twice 🙂
And what's the biggest problem, we haven't bought anything yet, except for my sister, which we solved during the Saturday.
I just hope I don't succumb to the pressure and agree to fold the chest of drawers I carried into her office yesterday.
If I accept, it can only be next weekend, because until then I have a lot of work commitments and every day is already full, from morning to night...
I hope you rested a little more this weekend than I did.
I will remember this weekend as a very dynamic one, when I realized that we have to pay for the purchase of new furniture and probably a few more visits to the furniture salon in the days ahead.
