This is Sensō-ji in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan - lovely temple in the middle of a lovely area. My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay in the middle of this neighborhood for a number of nights while we enjoyed the shopping and great little restaurants. Great area for shopping for little trinkets too.
This temple is dedicated to Guanyin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, and also is visited by over 30 million people per year, making it the most widely visited spiritual site in the world! I just love the wonderful symmetry of this temple. A must visit if you're ever in Tokyo!
