After a fire in the early 1800's the latest spa and open air theatre was rebuilt in 1880 and is still used today.
The spa is used for jazz festivals and has entertainment on regularly. There is also the great hall to the side with more modern day entertainment.
The Victorian theatre has stood the test of time and is a great tribute to the workmanship of that era.

The spa is situated to the very north of Scarborough Bay.
While at the south side of the Bay adjacent to Peasholm Park is the New open air Theatre where the more modern and up to date singers and bands can be seen.
I can't see the new building lasting as long as the 150 year old Victorian Building
