I was listening to a podcast the other day where someone stated that 70% of restaurants in Los Angeles went under during the plandemic. If that is even remotely accurate that is awful.
It will be interesting to see the lies that are told during the campaign about economics and "job creation" etc... I think we are too far gone for there to be a fix to this and since politics have become so toxic that it's basically a foregone conclusion how each side is going to vote that nothing can ever get done that needs to be done. A dem could have a brilliant idea but the reps will vote "no" just because it is a dem bill and vice-versa.
I can't say that I am even disappointed about the downfall. Some things are so broken that their complete collapse is the only solution. Now like you mentioned in a previous writeup, I need to get out of the city and into a smaller area. I was recently offered a choice to work remote at a pay cut and did the math and saw that based on real estate costs alone it would result in a net increase in pay, so I am getting moving on doing exactly that.
