This isn't entirely related to your post but has a similar theme: A buddy of mine got a misdemeanor charge for possession of weed in college. This was a long time ago. Even 15 years later he was denied a job working anywhere that kids were a part of. Because he smoked weed in college he is never allowed around kids? He has kids!
