I worked as a grill cook in a country club as a teenager. I really didn't have any idea how to make so much as burgers properly but strangely, the high-rollin clientele didn't really seem to care. I found that surprising. While I wasn't making a little bit more than you were, it wasn't anything more than pocket money. I suppose you could consider it a bit fun but then again, as a teenager you don't really have much responsibility so anything can be fun if you let it.
