My wife and I had to do some things in the city and we had exactly two hours because we left baby at my mom's.
So, we decided to split to do everything faster. She went to bank and post office and I went to city market for the groceries. I was done in 20 minutes and called her. She told me that she was still in bank and that she has to wait in a long line, so she suggested me to sit in some bar and drink a coffee. The city was really crowded, it was early morning and I tried to find a cafe bar near the city market, because my car was parked there.
After I tried to find a seat in few normal bars, I was forced to come here...
Since I didn't find any free table in some other places, I sat here and then I realized that all people in the bar know each other. And that all of them are already drinking alcohol. It seems that I was the only one in that place who was drinking a coffee. It all smelled like schnapps and cigarettes, mostly homegrown tobacco. It was so smoky inside that you couldn't get a clear picture in your eyes. I got last free table, so I had a view on large, full trash bags.
Speakers were too loud and a folk singer Vuco was terrorizing my ears. Remember this song, translated on English, I posted it many months ago...
Nobody knew me, so I looked strange to them. Everybody was staring at me. All people here were men above 50 years old. Except two waitresses. And one older lady was the only female guest in the bar so few old men tried to chat with her.
