I would like to introduce Human Resource Management. Because I am working at a Human Resources Department of a reputed company.
Human Resource Management is a profession just as any other profession such as medicine, law, engineering, accountancy, marketing, science, architecture, etc.
The profession of HRM is closely aligned to all other management disciplines in an organization. Resource Management is an integrated approach wherein Human Resource practitioners play the role of a business partner to effectively help drive business success.

Change Management
Dave Ulrich was of the view that HR Professionals must become more proactive and strategic. HR Professionals must become “business partners” by playing four key roles.
According to Dave Ulrich's Model, We are behaving in these roles in the workplace.
Administrative Expertise
Daily activations fall under Administrative Expertise. Such as;
recruitment and selection, time and attendance, process payroll, conduct disciplinary actions, grievance handling, maintaining employee records, welfare, health and safety management, & etc.
Employee Champion
Act like a real Sandwich between employer and employee in the workplace. Such as;
Grievance handling from the employee.
Solve conflicts between employer and employee or employee and employee. Increasing employee commitment and capability. Listening and responding to the employee.
Change Agent
Introduce new technologies, different concepts, methods, and procedures in the workplace. Such as;
We introduce new work schedules in the Covid-19
pandemic situation. They are working from home, flexible working hours, new health and safety procedures, etc.
Strategic Partner
Help to ensure the success of business strategies by aligning HR activities. It is the task of building the partnership between HR Management and Business. Sometimes, it sounds easy to implement Strategic Partnership, but it needs a lot of effort from Human Resources.
