Hello, dear community of music lovers!

We want to share with you a very special piece of our music. We are Dulce Kpricho, a duo of Cuban singer-songwriters and troubadours, a couple in life and in art, united by love and song. And it is a real pleasure for us to participate this week in the Hive Open Mic, in its 275th week, dedicated to the theme "Let's get a coffee".

When we learned that this was the inspiring reason for this edition, we couldn't help but smile. Because we just have a song that was born from the same essence: from the simple, human and profound encounter that often occurs over a cup of coffee.

Thanks to music and a coffee, we met and here we are today, sharing our experiences with you. Our song is titled “Más Que Nuestros”, and it is a piece that talks about that love that grows daily, that sneaks (like coffee) into everyday habits, and that becomes strong, necessary, irreplaceable… like the morning coffee itself. We perform it live, in a spatial space that we love in our house (the backyard), an intimate space that establishes a strong connection with nature and that we feel is as much ours as the song itself.

“Más Que Nuestros” is exactly that: a simple story, like so many, but with the magic that love gives it when taken slowly… like well-made coffee. It speaks of that empathy and special connection that we establish with our partner, to the point that when the time comes, we feel that nothing more is needed to be happy.

We invite you with all the love in the world to listen to it, to see it, to feel it... And if by doing so they manage to close their eyes and remember that aroma, that talk, that special moment with someone they love... then we will know that the song fulfilled its objective and only then... we will feel fulfilled, thanks to it.

Queremos compartir con ustedes un pedacito muy especial de nuestra música. Somos Dulce Kpricho, un dúo de cantautores y trovadores cubanos, pareja en la vida y en el arte, unidos por el amor y la canción. Y es para nosotros un verdadero placer participar esta semana en el Hive Open Mic, en su semana #275, dedicada al tema "Vamos por un café".

Cuando supimos que ese era el motivo inspirador de esta edición, no pudimos evitar sonreír. Porque justo tenemos una canción que nació de la misma esencia: del encuentro sencillo, humano y profundo que se da muchas veces frente a una taza de café.

Gracias a la música y a un café, nos conocimos y aquí estamos hasta hoy, compartiendo con ustedes nuestras experiencias.Nuestra canción se titula “Más Que Nuestros”, y es una pieza que habla de ese amor que crece a diario, que se cuela ( como el café) entre los hábitos cotidianos, y que se vuelve fuerte, necesario, irremplazable… como el mismo café de la mañana. La interpretamos en vivo, en un espacio espacial que adoramos de nuestra casa ( el patio) espacio íntimo, que establece una fuerte conexión con la naturaleza y que sentimos tan nuestro como la propia canción.

“Más Que Nuestros” es exactamente eso: una historia sencilla, como la de tantos, pero con la magia que le da el amor cuando se toma con calma… como el café bien hecho.
Habla de esa empatía y conexión especial que establecemos con la pareja, al punto de que llegado el momento, sentimos que no se necesita nada más para ser feliz.

Los invitamos con todo el cariño del mundo a escucharla, a verla, a sentirla…
Y si al hacerlo logran cerrar los ojos y recordar ese aroma, esa charla, ese momento especial junto a alguien amado… entonces sabremos que la canción cumplió su objetivo y solo entonces ...nos sentiremos realizados, gracias a ella.
