¡Hola hola, mis estimadas compañeras de costura y tejido! ¡Estoy de vuelta!
Con todo el asunto del viaje tenía muchos días sin tejer. Primero porque no me quedaban materiales y con los preparativos del viaje había otras prioridades y luego, porque no me traje mis agujas desde casa.
Hace un par de días mis hijos me sorprendieron con materiales para retomar mis tejidos y eso me puso muy feliz.
Me contaron que encontraron esta mercería, llamada "Hilando fino", en dónde podré comprar materiales variados para hacer crochet, bordados y todo tipo de proyectos de costura.
Solo me compraron 2 agujas y dos colores de hilo, pero prometieron llevarme con ellos la próxima vez para que yo escoja los materiales que necesite. Lo cual me tiene muy emocionada y feliz.
Empecé de inmediato para hacerle a mi hija una funda para su teléfono. Se la quise hacer antes del viaje pero al final no pude, así que la tenía pendiente.
Usé un punto nuevo para mí, que según el vídeo tutorial que me ví, lo conocen como punto relieve. Mi hija dice que parecen pequeños pétalos de flor y se veía emocionada con el proyecto.
El ganchillo que usé era más grueso que el que usaba antes y más acordé al grosor del hilo que estaba usando. Por lo que trabajé mucho más cómoda.
Ahora qué el invierno me complica salir a pasear, es el momento perfecto para retomar el crochet. Tener actividad que nos guste y que se pueda hacer estando calentito en casa, es una bendición.
Quiero hacer tantas cosas, tantos proyectos rondan mi mente y tengo varios encargos, pero primero tendré que hacer una visita para abastecerme de materiales.
Cuando terminas un proyecto, cuando alcanzas una meta que te propusiste es algo que da una gran satisfacción.
Pronto estaré haciendo bufandas y gorros, incluso algunos accesorios para mascotas; tengo muchas ideas que quiero poder mostrarles.
Hello hello, my dear sewing and knitting companions! I'm back!
With all the travel business I had many days without knitting. First because I didn't have any materials left and with the travel preparations there were other priorities and then because I didn't bring my needles from home.
A couple of days ago my children surprised me with materials to resume my knitting and that made me very happy.
They told me that they found this haberdashery store, called "Hilando Fino", where I can buy various materials to make crochet, embroidery and all kinds of sewing projects.
They only bought me 2 needles and two colors of thread, but they promised to take me with them next time so I can choose the materials I need. Which makes me very excited and happy.
I started immediately to make my daughter a case for her phone. I wanted to do it before the trip but in the end I couldn't, so I had it pending.
I used a new stitch for me, which according to the tutorial video I watched, I know as a relief stitch. My daughter says they look like little flower petals and she seemed excited about the project.
The crochet hook I used was thicker than the one I used before and more in line with the thickness of the yarn I was using. So I worked much more comfortably.
Now that winter makes it difficult for me to go out for a walk, it is the perfect time to take up crochet. Having an activity that we like and that can be done while warm at home is a blessing.
I want to do so many things, so many projects are on my mind and I have several orders, but first I will have to make a visit to stock up on materials.
When you finish a project, when you reach a goal you set for yourself, it is something that gives great satisfaction.
I will soon be making scarves and hats, even some pet accessories; I have many ideas that I want to be able to show you.
