**Hello! **
Since the introduction of Chaos Legion packs/cards into the game and the older starter cards being updated with a fresh deck my knowledge of Splinterlands quickly turned back to nil.
I used to fend quite alright for myself, averaging around a Silver 3 - Silver 2 Finish per season, water was my most dominant class and I found winning matches to be quite easy and enjoyable, very enjoyable infact!
Then the update happened and I couldn't win a game to save my life, I figured I'd let things cool off and take a break from the game for a while, till other smarter people have found out the best cards and or strategies to use going forward, unfortunately I've had no luck at all sourcing any information like that over my many many google searches the past few months.
Anytime I tried to pick up playing It was endless losses in a row before I'd give up out of frustration. I couldn't even beat some simple bronze levelled bots anymore.
The newer changes introduced most recently in regards to chests and daily chests peaked my interested and It did give me some hope the game is going back in the right direction, on that note I aimed to try picking up a few wins under my belt and checking out what's new.
I was doing okay for myself, but I still couldn't muster up the braincells to get past 200 rating so I decided to go for an old time favourite of mine and rent Mylor Crowling with a few additions to my earth deck.
Thankfully with the recent months the prices of all assets in game have dropped quite drastically. to the point most of the cards I am renting are for virtually nothing. I'm currently renting for a 2 day period
19.288 DEC for two days use-age out of these cards, not a problem to me. I know I won't be making the DEC back from my matches in bronze but renting these cards and playing against all kinds of decks is giving me a feel for the game once again.
Can't say its helping me out too drastically because I have only just pushed to Bronze 2 but hopefully with more time, dedication and effort I can see myself back in the Silver leagues.
on that note, I finally unlocked my first chests of this new Splinterland era. I know there will most likely be potions or 1 credit in each of my chests, but happy to keep pushing myself to learn the game again and how to go about using most of the newer cards introduced to the game.
Any advice, guides or deck suggestions would definitely help me out a tonne.
Looking for some cheap snags too which can help raise me out of these bronze leagues quick!
